It is a courtroom drama that was released in 1957. The film has been appreciated by many across the world. The film is based on a play by Regiland Ross. It’s a movie about leadership and negotiation skills. You can understand that the strong screenplay in this film was a challenge for the world-famous screenplay writers. The story is that a person can turn any kind of person towards himself with his argumentative and leadership qualities. This is the leadership quality of all the leaders of the countries from Alexander onwards to today. The accused is not a criminal, there is a limited amount of evidence to prove that he is a criminal, yet there is an attempt to prove that he is a criminal. Watching the film, we understand that a great leader has to prove himself as a leader in any situation. In the original story, 12 judges sit in a trial room and hear the case of a young man accused of stabbing his father to death. The overall story is that jury number 8, in defiance of the other jurors, turns the rest of the jury on its side, arguing that the death penalty is not a refuge for the murderer, and pointing out the lack of evidence. Some arguments:Juror #2: It’s hard to put into words. I just think he’s guilty. I thought it was obvious from the word, ‘Go’.

Juror #8: Nobody has to prove otherwise. The burden of proof is on the prosecution. The defendant doesn’t even have to open his mouth. That’s in the Constitution.Juror #8: It’s always difficult to keep personal prejudice out of a thing like this. And wherever you run into it, prejudice always obscures the truth. I don’t really know what the truth is. I don’t suppose anybody will ever really know. Nine of us now seem to feel that the defendant is innocent, but we’re just gambling on probabilities – we may be wrong. We may be trying to let a guilty man go free, I don’t know. Nobody really can. But we have a reasonable doubt, and that’s something that’s very valuable in our system. No jury can declare a man guilty unless it’s SURE. We nine can’t understand how you three are still so sure. Maybe you can tell us.
