Drogo Drones CEO Yashwant Bonthu said plans have been made to provide emergency medical services along with air taxi. He explained about the future plans of his company in a statement released on Friday in the wake of signing an agreement with IFFCO for spraying insecticides in 30 lakh acres across the country and getting permission from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the Krishi 3 drone that provides extensive services in the agricultural sector. He said that his company Drogo Drones will expand its services to survey, mapping, transportation of products and other sectors. Yashwant said that preparations are being made to establish a drone service hub in important district headquarters across the country and then in mandal centers. Drogo Drones’ latest Krushi 3 Pro drone can spray pesticides over four acres on a single charge. It can fly in the air for 24 minutes when fully loaded with pesticides and 42 minutes when empty. So far, the drones in the country are capable of spraying only two acres of pesticides on a single charge. With the new drone, farmers can increase their yield by 80 percent by spraying pesticides on 30 to 35 acres per day. Farmers who have the knowledge to use regular drones can also operate the Krishi drone. The new drone includes nozzles that efficiently spray pesticides, sensors that indicate overflow, and a system that alerts if there are any problems while the drone is in the sky. Yashwant said that Drogo Drones has signed an agreement with IFFCO to spray pesticides in 30 lakh acres in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Karnataka and other states through their newly introduced drones. He said that with the latest technology, farmers can use drone services at a low cost. Yashwant revealed that they will invest in setting up a drone service hub across the country and train 1000 drone operators. Drogo Drones is adding AI technology to improve its services. Yashwant said that plans have been made to achieve a revenue of 200 crores for the next year.
